What is Paverpol?
Paverpol is an environment friendly water based textile hardener.
- Paverpol can be used to make all sorts of materials rock-hard, such as textiles, paper, fiberglass, self-hardening clay and all kind of natural materials.
- Paverpol will adhere to wood, ceramics, plaster, concrete, stone, paper mache, tempex (polystyrene foam) etc.
- Colored textiles retain their original brightness when dipped into Paverpol transparent. Other colors are easy to make by adding one of the 28 Pavercolors. The colors can also be combined to make a vast range of shades.
- Natural materials that have been dipped in Paverpol are fire slackened.
Outside?
The statues made with Paverpol are weather resistant and can stay outside (even when it’s freezing). Only in really hot summer months, your cured Paverpol projects MAY soften slightly if outside in direct sunlight. Paverpol has a memory, so if your project has the proper armature, it will re-harden once the sun goes down without losing its shape.
When you have colored the statue with acrylic paint you need to apply Josefine’s Varnish to protect it.
Europe...
Initially, PAVERPOL was developed for a group of artists in Europe who used it to create huge parade float decorations. Now PAVERPOL encourages more and more people to express themselves in a creative way in either small or bigger sculptures.
